A friend of mine was able to capture a little bit of what I do on a regular basis on film, and I wanted to show you guys a little bit of what goes on when we have a photoshoot. The same is true if it’s a wedding, a senior portrait, an engagement stroll, or a fashion shoot, like this one was. Enjoy!

Beth and Edwin Monfero’s Bridal Session

Beth and Edwin were a joy to work with! They had gotten married earlier in a small ceremony, then had a reception later on to celebrate with family and friends, getting dressed up again, and asked if I could capture some photos of the two of them for a quick bridal session. The week before that, the weather had been so nice, but right before our scheduled session, it snowed and the temp dropped down to 14! It made for some really great snowy pictures, though, despite the cold!

Angela is my amazing cousin. Her family (Cashmore’s) and my family (Cowen’s) literally grew up together in each others back yard. We helped physically build their house, and they helped build ours. Our houses that we grew up in are right behind each other. I was honored when she asked me to capture their special day!

I had the awesome privilege of assisting Ben Kasica with 2220 Photography on this wedding. I wasn’t even expecting this shoot, so I came home early from my Christmas vacation in Atlanta to be able to assist with it. The results are absolutely stunning. Doug is the band We Are Leo. Enjoy!

The Wedding Of Hunter & Vannessa Rubio

Just minutes before we were scheduled to start the wedding, Hunter practically dragged Vanessa to a beautiful park within walking distance of their house. He felt that he hadn’t properly asked her to marry him, and he wanted to do it right. The result, as you see, was complete surprise on Vanessa’s part, resulting in us all having to run to get there on time! Hunter was working on restoring the Kenosha courthouse where they got married, and so all of his co-workers were able to congratulate him right after the ceremony. This couple was amazing! Both of them had such a classic, almost old-fashioned style which I loved being able to capture!
