About us
ABOUT US:
Brian: I started taking pictures with a small hand held camera in 2002. I realized if I held it at a certain angle or got it at a custom setting, I could make ordinary pictures look extraordinary. I continued taking pictures casually until two weeks after my own wedding, one of my wife's old roommates asked me to take pictures of their wedding. From that point on, I have been diligently taking photos professionally. It started out as just friends of ours that were getting married, but quickly evolved into more and more.
On May 1st, 2010, photography became my sole source of income. I couldn't imagine having it any other way. God has totally blessed our business and I am blown away by His faithfulness.
On your wedding day, I like to be the invisible third person getting married alongside of you. I will capture your emotions, your expressions, and most importantly, the love you feel for your new spouse. I love to capture every moment because in the end, the flowers will fade, the food will be eaten, the dress will be put away in a box, but the photos will last forever.
Lindsey: I have always had a love for photography. I remember running around as early as 4 years old with my parents' 110 camera (the long thin ones from the 80's) and taking pictures of the TV screen playing Tarzan so that people would think I was in the jungle. Once digital cameras came out, our family was one of the early adopters and I would document every trip that we would take, making sure to take pictures of all the people involved. Was I very good? Not really. Not to my standards now. The foundation was laid, though. I wanted to be able to capture people as I saw them and to interact with them, and that is what I accomplished. To me, photography is all about interacting with people and getting to the core of who they are. It's about capturing them in the moment and being able to showcase that for all eternity.Being married to Brian has really changed my perspective. I would always accompany Brian to all of his weddings in the beginning, being a silent observer. Then one day, in the middle of a wedding, it suddenly clicked and I saw the photos the way that I wanted them to be taken. I saw them from a different angle than where Brian was at, and I tried to get his attention, but he was getting the photos from a different angle. I quickly grabbed his camera and took the shots that I knew needed to be taken, and mine turned out better than his! From that time on, he made sure that I always had a camera in hand, and from there, we truly became a husband and wife team.
